William D. O'Connor, aged 63, of Millsboro, DE, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2025, in his home. A graduate of Sun Valley High School, William dedicated 32 years of his career to Boeing Helicopter in Ridley Park, PA, before retiring. He was passionate about fishing, darts, sports, and cherished his time with his grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his father, Alfred O'Connor; his sister, Kathy O'Connor; his mother, Helene Meiser O'Connor; and his son, Shawn O'Connor. He is survived by his loving spouse of 28 years, Lorie O'Connor; his son, Joseph O'Connor and wife Sarah of Kinzers, PA; his daughter, Tiffany Wheeler and husband Claude of Tennessee; his brothers, Al O'Connor of Aston, PA, Thomas O'Connor of West Minister, CO, and Richard O'Connor and wife Pan of Hover, AL; his sister, Mary O'Connor of Richmond, IN; as well as four nieces, one nephew, and four grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10 to 11:30 A.M. at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, located at 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
