William V. Gullickson, age 88, of Frankford, DE formerly of Churchton, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE.

Bill was born in Johnstown, PA on August 5, 1936 son of the late Ira Norman Gullickson and the late Catharine (Young) Gullickson.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Bill was proud of his service as a deputy clerk with the United States Supreme Court for over 30 years.  He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and was a 30-year member of the Boardwalk 9:59 Club, where he was considered the unofficial Chairman of the Boards. He was also an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lothian, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Halley) Gullickson; a brother, Ira Norman Gullickson, Jr. and a sister, JoAnn Kudlich.  Bill is survived by his three children, Gene (Natalie) Gullickson, Denise (Henry) Bernstein and Catherine (Timothy) Thomas; grandchildren, Kimberly Stolarik, Joy Mooney, Patricia Berry, Jessica Ort, Melissa Kruemmel and Venessa Stevenson and 7 great grandchildren, Aaron and Blake Stolarik, Tyler, Madison, Andrew, Ron and Leland Mooney.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. James Episcopal Church, 5757 Solomons Island Rd., Lothian, MD 20711.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Bill's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
