William Brown, age 78, of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025 in the company of family while listening to his favorite song by George Thorogood "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer". Biff, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was born on February 19, 1947 in Washington, DC to the late William and Rachel Brown.

Biff is survived by Joyce, his loving wife of 22 years, his children, Heather (Ken), Michelle, Matt (Wendy) and Tammy (Michael), grandchildren, Will, Tabitha, Ava and Savannah and his sisters, Mollie (Tom, deceased) and Alice (Earl). Biff was a beloved uncle to four nieces and nephews, Jeff, Sarah, Kirsten and David and great uncle to nine nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all, especially his life time friend Gini (Greg, deceased) and the remaining survivor of the "Three Musketeers", Tim.

Biff was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as Gunner's Mate Third Class. He graduated from Loyola College and retired from the Johns Hopkins University in 2001 where he was the Grounds Manager for 18 years.

Biff was an avid double black diamond skier, an owner of Classic Harley Davidson motorcycles and a fan of blues music and 70's rock and roll. Some of his favorite times were walking his dogs at the reservoir near their home in Reisterstown, MD. Through the years were Crystal, Harley, Calhoun, Rudi and Ziva. Biff and Joyce especially enjoyed traveling, both in the States (often by motorcycle) and abroad (Greece was a favorite).

After retirement, they bought a second home in Millsboro, DE near Rehoboth Beach where he vacationed as a child. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, driving his Corvette and spending time with friends and family. Although Delaware became their permanent home, he remained a loyal Baltimore Ravens fan until the end and his daughter fondly remembers attending many Orioles games at Memorial Stadium.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Ceremony at a later date (to be announced). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, in Milford, DE 19963.
