Virginia T. (Tommy) Frazier, age 89, of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in her home.

She was born in Millsboro, DE on April 4, 1934 daughter of the late J. Reese White, Sr. and the late Sarah (Carpenter) White-Mahler. Virginia attended the Shipley Boarding School in Bryn Mawr, PA, and Hollins College in Virginia before transferring to the University of Delaware, where she completed her degree in 1956.

Virginia retired as a school teacher with the Milford School District, after 25 years of teaching 5th & 6th grades. She was a native of Millsboro and founder and president of the Millsboro Public Library. Virginia was a faithful member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Millsboro, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Virginia was an avid football fan, especially of the University of Delaware where she attended games since the 1950s. She has also been a season ticket holder for many years. She also enjoyed needlepoint, traveling, reading, history and cooking. Thanksgiving was always her favorite holiday to cook for the family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, J. Reese White, Jr. and her sister, Mary McMahon. Virginia is survived by her son, David Frazier and his wife, Christine (Lastowka) Frazier of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two grandchildren, Christopher Frazier and his wife, Dr. Amanda Malik of Cherry Hill, NJ and Katherine (Frazier) Devlin and her husband, Robert Devlin of Bryn Mawr, PA and three great grandchildren, Alexander Frazier, Harvey Frazier and Eleanor Devlin.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Millsboro Cemetery. Following the graveside service, there will be a memorial service to celebrate Virginia's life at 12 noon at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 110 W. State Street, Millsboro, DE, where a reception will follow in the social hall.
