Troy D. Yeager was born on November 30,1962 in Germany where his father was stationed in the Army. He spent most of his childhood going between his beloved family farm in Nottingham, Pennsylvania and his grandparent's mountain home in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. He spent most of his life working with his hands in construction or handyman capacity which included many years working side by side with the Amish. He also spent several years in the animal husbandry field.

He met his beloved life partner, Vicky McMillan in 1981 and they spent the next 43 years raising their children and being doting grandparents to their 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold Lee and Wilma Jane Yeager, his son Troy Lee Yeager and his son-in-law Michael Merchant. He is survived by his life partner Vicky and their 3 living children Melissa Jane Yeager (Lewes, DE), Matthew Troy Yeager (Millsboro, DE) and Mandy Jo Duperron and her husband Christopher (Millsboro, DE). In addition, he is survived by his 7 grandchildren who he loved with all his heart: Rosemary Spiezio (Lewes, DE), Elliott Spiezio (Lewes, DE), Caleb Merchant (Millsboro, DE), Marissa Hurley (Lewes, DE), Arianna Duperron (Millsboro, DE), Marcayla Bullock (Lewes, DE), and David Duperron (Millsboro, DE), He is also survived by his parents Harold Clyde Yeager and his partner Peggy Shaw (Wilmington, DE) and his mother Demma Yeager (Millsboro, DE).

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working with animals and working on cars. He was also a proud member of the Indian River Watersports Club where he served them as a pier captain when he was in better health. He was well known by his family, friends and neighbors as always being willing to lend a helping hand with lawn work or anything else they might need.

Per Troy's request there will be no service. They will be planning a private celebration of life at a later date.
