Thomas Ritchie Park, age 79, of Dagsboro, DE formerly of Annapolis and Bowie, MD passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE.

Tom was born in Washington, D.C. on July 8, 1944 son of the late William Annand Park and Hallie May (Clark) Park.  He proudly served his country in the National Guard.  Tom worked as a paper sales executive with Xpedx Paper Company, retiring in 1999.

After retiring to Delaware, he became very active in his housing development, Seagrass Plantation, where he served on several committees.  Tom loved the beach, gardening, building birdhouses and received a beautification award from Ocean City for his gardening design with his birdhouses that each grandchild painted.  Tom will be remembered for his love of family, especially doting on his grandchildren and his collection of tools which he shared with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann North.  Tom is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol A. (Quigg) Park; two sons, Craig Park (Patricia) and Patrick Park (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Hallie Park, Grace Park, Aidan Park and Hunter Park; a brother, Bill Park and two sisters, Mary Jo Scarbath and Hallie May Galloway.

Friends and family may gather at 11 AM for Visitation before the Mass of Christian Burial which will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 35318 Church Rd., Frankford, DE 19945.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
