It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Thelma G. Hall who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 83. Born on July 17th 1940, in Snow Hill Maryland.  She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Ernest M. Hall.

Thelma G. Hall lived a fulfilling life; during her school days she was quite the basketball player, hitting three point shots up and down the court. Thelma was also a whizz at mathematics. She had a passion for cooking, typing, shopping, baking cakes and serving her homemade ice cream for her family & friends. She was well-known to the neighborhood children as Mom-Thelma as they loved to stop by & buy candy, snacks & juices that she would sell out of her home. She also had a green thumb and loved tending to her gardens. In her spare time, over the years, she collected hundreds of salt & pepper shakers of different varieties and enjoyed playing the game of Jax's, she was an expert.

Thelma G. Hall was a generous soul and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a lifelong attendee of Frankford Church of Christ where she was a dedicated trustee.

She is survived by her five children, Richard Shockley of Frankford, DE, Sherita Taylor of Laurel, DE, Tim Hall of Frankford, DE, Felicia Hall of Selbyville, DE, and Ernestine Hall of Frankford, DE, one grandchild, Martisha Allen(Anthony Allen) of Magnolia, DE and three great-grandchildren, Paris, Amir, Mia, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Thelma G. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Shockley and Louvella Corbin Shockley, her son, Kevin Hall, her siblings Virginia Ayers, Ellamae Deshields, Alice Shockley, Marie Shockley, Harold Shockley and Leonard Shockley.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family members. In lieu of donations, the family requests that all donations be made to Frankford Church of Christ in Frankford DE, in memory of Thelma G.Hall.

Rest in peace, dear mother you will be missed. You'll forever be in our hearts and memories.
