Sylvia M. Yeager, age 83, of Dagsboro, DE formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE.

She was born in Baltimore, MD on May 9, 1940 to the late Joseph A. Senger and Sylvia M. (Chytry) Senger.

Sylvia was proud to have been Miss Baltimore in 1958 and was the 1st runner up for Ms. Maryland.  She had a long successful career in telemarketing retiring as a supervisor.

Sylvia was an active member in the Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America and the Daughters of the Nile. She was proud of the fact that her house in Baltimore was used when filming the movie "Step Up".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Yeager.  Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Darlene Stephens and her husband, Sean and Debra Miller; six grandchildren, Scott Kansler, Jr., Michael Kansler, Richard Kansler, Harmony Kansler, Lindsey Miller and James Miller and 7 great grandchildren, Michael Kansler, Jr., Madeline Kansler, Richard Kansler, Jr., Liam Kansler, Cove Kansler, Natalie Kansler and Elliana Cierkowski.
