Sharon was born on June 8, 1951 to William Lavelle Ridge and Anna Marie Lulie in Baltimore, MD. She is preceded by her parents as well as her husband, Robert Wayne Knickman of 56 years, her son Paul Colton Knickman, brothers Billy Ridge and David Ridge.

Sharon grew up in Baltimore, MD until she moved to Knoxville, TN, where she resided for 19 years until she became a resident of Millsboro, DE, where she lived with her daughter Michelle Spangler.

She is survived by her siblings Tomas Ridge, Cheryl Ann Ridge, and Mark Ridge. Her children Michelle Spangler and husband Clif, Robert Knickman, Stacey Thomas and husband Harry, Eric Knickman and wife Bernice. Grandchildren Cara McKenrick, Amethyst Freeman, Chance Spangler, Andrew McKenrick, Summer Knickman, Shane Knickman, Rob Knickman, Jr., Christopher Knickman, Selena & Sierra Knickman, Kylie Knickman as well as 5 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Sharon was a member of Amvets Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary in Long Neck, DE. Where she enjoyed volunteering and playing hot shots. She also enjoyed, crocheting, quilting, plants, dancing and spending time with her loved ones. She had a child-like spirit, always looking for a good time. But most of all she loved Christmas 365 days a year!

In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation to be made to her beloved Amvets Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary, 32592 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE, 19966. She was most proud of the donations, as they aided in providing for veterans and the community. Sharon will be remember as having such a giving soul.
