Sandra A. "Sandi" Ferrara, age 77, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Pine Hill, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE.

Born in Philadelphia on August 28, 1948, Sandi was the daughter of the late Salvatore Buffo and Mary (Zelesky) Buffo. She built a fulfilling career as a medical transcriptionist before retiring.

Sandi will be lovingly remembered for the warmth and beauty she brought to every place she called home. She had a gift for decorating—always redecorating, rearranging, and creating spaces filled with comfort and charm. She loved vacations and traveling, finding joy in every new place she visited. Yet her greatest love, without question, was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the heart of her world, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

Sandi is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert J. Ferrara; her three children, Lisa Carracino, Vincent Ferrara (Jacqueline), and Bobby Ferrara (Susan); and her cherished grandchildren—Ashley (Justin), Alexiss, Albie (Tyler), Samantha (Chris), Salvatore (Emily), Sabrina, Becca, and Brittany. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren—JJ, Bella, Angelo, and Layla.

Sandi is further survived by her brothers, Joey Hercker (Margie) and Frank Hercker (Marilyn); her sister, Tina Borek (David); and several nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Services and burial will be held privately.
