Rose Marie Kominiak, age 84, of Bethany Beach, DE formerly of Flanders, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Rose was born in Newton, NJ on June 23, 1939 daughter of the late Joseph T. Sadlon and the late Helen A. (Sosnowski) Sadlon.  She retired from Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ as an administrative assistant with over 20 years of service.  After moving to Delaware, Rose began working at Marshalls in Rehoboth Beach, DE for another 20 years.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Andrew A. Kominiak, Jr.; three children, Donna Terreri (Keith) of Lewisville, TX, Mark Kominiak of Park City, UT, Cheryl Harrington (Jon) of Ocean, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Krystopher Terreri, Lindsay Terreri, Madison Terreri, Sean Harrington and Brandon Harrington; two sisters, Theresa Pyskaty (Joseph) of Frankford, DE and Joyce Pool (Richard) of Bethany Beach, DE.

Rose and Andy traveled to Kihei, Maui for over 20 years spending three months away from the winters on the east coast. Rose found happiness in walking faithfully every day, where she enjoyed looking at the ocean and meeting people along her journeys. Rose also took joy in helping others through volunteering at local organizations. Rose loved baking and sharing her cream cheese pound cake.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 30, 2023 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930, where friends and family may gather for visitation at 10 AM prior to mass.  Interment will be held privately.
