Robert Joseph Moran, age 74, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at his home.

Bob was born in Wilmington, DE on June 15, 1950 son of the late Joseph Moran and June (Price) Moran. He was a graduate of Conrad High School in Wilmington, DE.

Bob worked in various places in the Philadelphia area with Sheet Metal Workers' Local 19 until his retirement. He was a member of AMVETS Post #2 and the American Legion Post #28 in Millsboro, DE. Bob was an avid dart player with his neighborhood friends. He enjoyed boating and socializing with all the friends that he made at Walker Beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary George. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathleen F. Moran; two stepchildren, Erik Marciniszyn of Smyrna, DE and Tracy Repko and her husband, Craig of High Point, NC; two grandchildren, Emily Repko and Abigail Repko and two nieces, Jeanne Jung and her husband, Phil of Wilmington, DE and Stacey George of Wilmington, DE.

Bob will be deeply missed and was loved dearly by his wife.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends and family may gather after 1 PM.
