Robert "Bob" V. Kues, age 88, of Ocean View, DE formerly of Pasadena and Dundalk, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.

Bob was born in Baltimore City, MD on April 2, 1936 and raised in the city by his mother, Martha Krawczyk. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Following his discharge from the military, Bob continued to serve his community as a Baltimore City Police Officer retiring after 37 years of service as a Lieutenant.

Bob loved to ballroom dance with his beloved wife, Terry who passed away in 2021. He and his wife Terry, were both cofounders and board members of the Coastal Cotillion Dance Group. Bob was also a member of the Mason Dixon VFW Post #7234 in Ocean View, DE and loved going to the beach and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and loved his Patterson and Balducci thriller novels. Bob will always be remembered for his outstanding character, unselfishness, loyalty, generosity, and beautiful smile.

In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terry; a grandson, Ryan Weinberg and a brother, Richard Kues.  Bob is survived by his three children, Karen Treuting of Dagsboro, DE, Pamela Welsh of Millville, DE and Martin Kues and his wife, Marcey of Ocean View, DE; a brother, Steve Oszakiewski and his wife, Betty of Dundalk, MD; 7 grandchildren, Lindsay Tayman, DJ Tayman, Samantha Reed, Marty Kues, Elijah Kues, Khloe Kues, Kaden Kues and six great grandchildren, Cooper Tayman, Kayla Tayman, Caroline Tayman, Braden Clemens, Braden Kues and Mackenzie Kues.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held privately.
