Robert Ingersoll Cook, age 89, of Carlisle, PA and Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his home in Millsboro, DE.

Bob was born in Upper Moreland Township, PA on April 16, 1934 son of the late Robert Bailey Cook and the late Frances (Kooker) Cook.  He was a graduate of Kutztown High School and had a long successful career with AT&T retiring after 35 years of service as a supervisor.

Bob loved living in the Long Neck area where enjoyed spending time fishing and boating.  His interests also included woodworking, hunting, gardening and completing crossword puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audrey Cook in 2007; a son, Russell D. Cook; a brother, Russell Cook and two sisters, Bernice Grimes and June Bailey.  Bob is survived by three children, Ann Wilson (Tim), Robert I Cook (Vanessa) and Andrew Cook and three grandchildren.

Services and burial will be held privately.
