Robert Franklin Clark, age 73, of Ocean View, DE formerly of Laurel, MD passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his home.

Bob was born in San Diego, CA on November 16, 1951 son of the late Robert Smith Clark and the late Alice (Pushinsky) Clark.  He had a longtime career with the federal government working at the Government Printing Office from 1975-1991 before working with NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD retiring in 2008.

After retiring to Delaware, Bob enjoyed the simple life living near the beach.  He was a faithful member at the Ocean View Presbyterian Church. Bob was heavily involved in Boy Scouts in his younger years and eventually made Eagle Scout.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his only grandchild, Carmen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jane Marie (McCraney) Clark; a son, Joseph Clark and his wife, Alicia of Bowie, MD and their daughter, Carmen Clark.  Bob is also survived by his brother, Alan Clark and his wife Jeanne Little of Herndon, VA.

A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Ocean View Presbyterian Church, 67 Central Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM.  Interment will follow to Parsons Cemetery, 912 N. Division St., Salisbury, MD 21801.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Bob's name to the Ocean View Presbyterian Church at the above address.
