Richard C. Davidson, Sr., age 82, of Bishopville, MD passed away at his home on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Richard was born in Bishopville, MD on July 11, 1942.  He was the son of the late William A. Davidson and the late Juliet V. (Mumford) Davidson. He graduated from Stephen Decatur High School Class of 1960 in Berlin, MD.

He was a lifelong poultry and grain farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet B. Davidson; his second wife, Sharon S. Davidson and his brother, William T. Davidson.

He is survived by his sons, CW Davidson and his wife, Rene of Bishopville, MD and Richard C. Davidson, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Frankford, DE; 2 stepchildren, Heather Little and her husband, Robert of Selbyville, DE and Heath Davis and his wife, Heather of Frankford, DE; 6 grandchildren, Janet Davidson, Coale Davidson, Hillary Haines and her husband, Colby, Elizabeth Adkins and her husband, Tanner, Logan Smith and her husband, Matthew and Hunter Davis and 5 great grandchildren, Tillie Haines, Quinn Haines, Nolan Haines, MJ Smith and Lynnden Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Bishopville Cemetery in Bishopville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Richard's name to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
