Ralph "Buddy" Lee Bangle, Jr., age 77, of Millville, DE formerly of Richmond, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Buddy was born in Richmond, VA on October 18, 1947 son of the late Ralph Lee Bangle, Sr. and the late Ruby (Nowell) Bangle.  He was a self-employed insurance salesman prior to his retirement.

Buddy enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach and he loved to watch all types of sports.  Above all else, he loved his family whether he was spending time with his grandchildren or simply talking on the phone to his children and sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Diorio.  Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debra (Meiklejohn) Bangle; two children, Brandon Lee Bangle and his wife, Ashley of Orlando, FL and Caitlin E. Bangle Iem and her husband, Robert of Savannah, GA; three grandchildren, Robert Iem, Jr., Callie Iem and Henry Bangle; two sisters, Brenda Boucher and her husband, Vic of Brookfield, MA and Donna Stotler and her husband, Mike of New Sweden, ME and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm (noon) on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00pm (noon).  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
