It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Priscilla C. Geidel, age 92, who passed away at her home in Millsboro, Delaware on May 19, 2026.

She was born on September 6, 1933, the only child of the late Anthony and Mary (Frank) Bachmann.

Priscilla lived a life filled with compassion, strength, and deep devotion to God, her family, and friends. With her passing we remember her artistic talents as a watercolor artist at Norcross Card Company, her passion for exploring creativity through a variety of crafts such as crochet, cross stitch and crewel embroidery, and beading, along with the joy she found in gardening. As an elementary school special education aide she touched the lives of countless children by sharing her thirst for knowledge and her love of reading.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Charles. She was the proud and loving mother of three children, Donna Geidel Baratta and her husband Alfred; her son Jon Charles Geidel and his wife Tammy; and her son Jeffrey Paul Geidel and his wife Vanessa. She was the cherished grandmother to six grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Andrew Baratta, Maria Baratta; Garrett Geidel and his wife Grace, Brenna Geidel; and Samantha Geidel.

Priscilla gently touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth, gentle humor, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, compassion, and faith.
