Paul Albert Weisbrod, 87 of Ocean View, DE, formerly of Buckingham, PA, passed away April 23, 2024 in Beebe Healthcare.

He was born February 3, 1937, in Burholme, PA a son of the late George and Mary (Powell) Weisbrod.

Paul proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.

He retired from Mom Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia, PA in 1996, after 40 years of service. In July 1998 Paul moved to Savannah Landing and became a Pool Monitor and Block Captain. He was an avid Eagles fan who loved fishing, boating and his Miata sports car. He belonged to Mood, which is a Miata Car Club here in Delaware and was a member of the 9:59 Boardwalk Group.

Paul is preceded in death by his son, Paul M. Weisbrod, Jr. who passed away February 26, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie (Vandegrift) Weisbrod; children, Linda Rae Seroskie (Tony), James Weisbrod (Cheryl), Deborah Ghering (Kurt) and George Weisbrod; eight grandchildren; three great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in Paul's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
