Paul A. DeVito, age 77, of Dagsboro, DE formerly of New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at his home.

Paul was born in Long Island, NY on February 24, 1948 son of the late Philip DeVito and the late Lucille (Parrino) DeVito.  He retired with the road maintenance department for the Town of Hempstead in New York.

Paul loved to go bowling, dancing with his beloved wife, Sally and listening to his 50's and 60's music.  He was also a car enthusiast and always had a nice vehicle the he kept meticulously clean.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sally (Burrafato) DeVito; two brothers, Philip DeVito of Ocean View, DE and Anthony DeVito of Millsboro, DE; three sisters, Angela Nittoly and her husband, Kenneth of Ocean View, DE, Nancy McCune of Ocean View, DE and Lucille "Luann" Osakowicz and her husband, Frank of Ocean View, DE and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a prayer service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will be held privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
