**September 26, 1935 – October 24, 2024**

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Marie (Oldewurtel) Tinsley, age 89, of Ocean View, Delaware, who peacefully departed this life on October 24, 2024.

Pat was a beacon of love, a devoted wife who patiently awaited the day she could reunite with her beloved husband, Bernard "Stan" Tinsley, after almost 10 ½ years apart. As the matriarch of the Tinsley clan, she nurtured and inspired her family with unwavering strength and faith. Her love as a mother was boundless, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her dear husband, Stan, her youngest child, Dannie Tinsley-Young, and her siblings: Henry, Albert, Mary Elizabeth, and Anne, as well as her lifelong friend, Shirley Russell. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and their memories will forever be treasured.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her 8 children and their families: TJ and wife Vicki, Bryan (Terri Stillwagoner), Colette and husband Nelson, Kevin and wife Sandy, Michelle Walter (David), Rich and wife Emily, Rob and wife Sonja, Ray and Brooke Brown, Joe Young (husband to Dannie); 22 grandchildren and their families: Tom, Nichole, Morgan, Steven, Michael, Cayla, Korbin, Kamren, Jazmin, Alex, Cassie, Sydney, Austin, Elise, Blake, Logan, Connor, Evan, Hunter, Grayson, Jack, and Gigi; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and their families. Every one of them carries a piece of her spirit and the values she instilled in them.

Loved ones and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Pat's remarkable life at St. Ann's Catholic Church, where she was a member for over 30 years. The gathering will take place at 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Delaware, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro, Delaware, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 10:00 am.

In this time of sorrow, we honor Pat's life of love, her dedication to God and family, and the countless lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
