Patricia Ann Steele of Ocean View, DE, and formerly of Hershey, PA and Eden, NC, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024 in Millsboro, DE. Patricia was born in Latrobe, PA on February 10th, 1940, daughter of the late Ralph L Frye Sr. and Esther V. (Shearer) Frye.

She is survived by her husband George Daniel Steele of Ocean View, DE, and her siblings Jane Matincheck of FL, Ralph Frye Jr. of Latrobe, PA and half-sister Karen Werner. She is also survived by her five loving children: Kim Buchan of Harrisburg, PA, Georgia Redmon (Michael) of Selbyville, DE, Sandra Arndt (John) of Hershey, PA, George T. Buchan Jr. (Tonia) of Goodview, VA, and Thomas Buchan (Lynnette) of Hershey, PA, as well as 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and her step children Dawn (Steele), Parsons (Danny) of Millsboro, DE, and Daniel Steele of Millsboro, DE.

She was preceded in death by her late husband George T. Buchan Sr. and by her sister Sally Kubicki of Ocean View, DE.

Patricia will always be remembered by her family as loving, kind, and adventurous. She loved dogs and had a passion for decorating, fashion and her hobbies were sewing and making ceramics.

A service and celebration of life is being planned in her memory sometime in January in Ocean View, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patty's memory to a charity of your choice, or to the Humane Society, in recognition of her deep love for animals and the many pets she cared for over the years.
