Patricia Ann Ferry, age 90, of Bethany Beach, Delaware, formerly of Bethesda, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in the comfort of her own home.

Pat was born in Washington, D.C. on September 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Milton Edward Firor and Mary Elizabeth (Perkins) Firor. She was a graduate of Immaculata Preparatory School in Washington, D.C.

Pat was a devoted wife and mother of five children who created a loving and nurturing home for her family. While raising her children, she became an enthusiastic supporter of their many activities, especially their sporting events, and developed a particular love for women's basketball. Pat and her family owned a beach home in the Bethany area for more than 50 years, and her happiest moments were spent at the beach near 3rd Street in Bethany. In her quieter moments, she found great joy in reading a good book.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Francis Ferry; her son, Michael Scott Ferry; and her brother, Donald Firor.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Firor, her four children: Timothy Francis Ferry of Bethany Beach, DE; Dennis Patrick Ferry of Ocean City, MD; Patrick Joseph Ferry of Clarksburg, MD; and Kelley Christ and her husband, Steven, of Lutherville, MD. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Logan Ryan, Ashley Lazarewicz, Lindsey Ferry, Brendan Ferry, Thomas Christ, Emily Christ, and Andrew Christ; four great-grandchildren: Grahm Ryan, Skylar Lazarewicz, Addison Lazarewicz, and Sophia Healy.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Pat's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
