Patricia Black was born December 16, 1950 in Redbank, New Jersey. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Highlands, New Jersey where she served as a Eucharistic minister, Lecter and Chorister. Upon moving to Ocean City, Maryland, Patty joined St. Luke's Catholic Church and served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Patty was also in the process of becoming a lay Carmelite and would have soon taken her vows. Survived by sister and her husband, Gordon and Michelle Diddlemeyer, daughters Alyssa and husband Brian McCann and Michelle and husband Thomas Wilcox. Also survived by her five grandchildren, Kyle, Katerina and Bryan Wilcox and Luke and Lilly McCann. We certainly could not forget her beloved 3 Chihuahuas, Gabriel, Rafael and Missy.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Little Sisters of Jesus and Mary .

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 9903 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD, 21842, followed by 11:00 a.m. funeral mass.
