With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Pamela Richman, who died peacefully on Saturday, May 10, in Ocean View, Delaware, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was the beloved wife of Neil Richman, devoted mother to Todd and Jeffrey, their wives Courtney and Mary, adoring grandmother to Anna, Sammy, Ben, Noa, Patrick, and Evie, loving sister to Margie Ribak, and sister-in-law to David Ribak and Michael & Susan Richman.

Born and raised on the north shore of Massachusetts, Pam's life was filled with adventure and connection. She traveled and lived in Okinawa, Japan, and Sacramento, California, before settling in Fairfax County, Virginia, where she raised her family and worked with dedication in the Fairfax County Public Library system. After retiring, Pam fulfilled her dream of living by the ocean and moved to Bethany Beach, DE, where she embraced coastal life with joy.

Pam was a warm and social soul, who cherished her friendships and made every gathering special. She had a passion for cooking, playing Mah Jongg, reading, and shopping—but most of all, for being with the people she loved. Her home was always open, her kitchen often full, and her heart endlessly generous.

Her strength, humor, and kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Pam will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.

A private celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's honor to a charity of your choice.
