Pamela J. Glenn, age 73, of Dagsboro, Delaware, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply, in the comfort of her own home.

Pam was born on June 24, 1952, in Norwalk, Connecticut, to the late Clyde William Vance and Bonnie (Hoskins) Vance.  Pam graduated from Mount Hope High School in West Virginia before beginning a journey that would eventually lead her to Rock Hall, Maryland—where fate stepped in. While working at a snack bar, Pam met the love of her life, Thomas E. Glenn. Their love story grew into a devoted marriage of 54 years, built on faith, loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.

After moving to Delaware, Pam became a familiar and trusted face in the community. She worked at Hocker's, managed the Dagsboro and Milton Quick Stop, and later fulfilled a lifelong goal by opening her own business, Personal Service Cleaners. For more than 20 years, Pam poured her work ethic, pride, and kindness into serving countless families. To Pam, her clients were never "just customers"—they were people she cared for, prayed for, and treated like family.

Family was the center of Pam's world. Nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her grandchildren—especially cooking and baking alongside them, passing down recipes, laughter, and love. Pam created memories that will live on for generations. She also cherished traveling with her husband, particularly cruising together. One of Pam's greatest joys was gifting each grandchild a special graduation cruise with her and Tom, creating lifelong memories one-on-one with each of them.

Pam leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas "Tom" Glenn, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership; her sons, Thomas Edgar Glenn, Jr. and his wife Leslie, and their son Thomas Edgar Glenn III; and Jason William Glenn and his wife Corinne, and their daughters Ariel Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, and Addyson Glenn.

Pam's heart was big enough to embrace many, and she was blessed with a beautiful extended family through fostering. She is survived by foster daughter Cindy Lawrence and her husband James, their children JJ Lewis and Miranda Lee Lawrence, and grandchildren Ethan, Lauren, Morgan, Xela, and Killian Lewis; foster daughter Jennifer Nutley and her husband Matt, their children Kohl Miller, Raider Nutley, Jensen Nutley, and Briar Nutley, and their grandson Jett Miller; foster son Jesse James Decker; and her very special chosen granddaughter, Khloe Sullivan, who held a unique place in Pam's heart.

Pam is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Bob and Becky Glenn, and their children Andy Glenn and Valerie Glenn and their families of Maryland; her youngest brother Ronald Edward Vance of Hickory, North Carolina; her nephew Zachariah William Vance of Jacksonville, North Carolina; and her nieces Jeni Mick and her husband William, and their daughter Glenda Mick, and Wendy Martinez and her children Miko Martinez and Leila Hill.

Pam was blessed with friendships that spanned decades and meant the world to her. She treasured her "forever friends" Ruthie Maloney (52 years), Debbie Murray (40 years), Bonnie Thomas (25 years), and her dearest friend Lynda Shockley Baull—women who walked beside her through life's joys and hardships and never left her side.

Pam's faith was a cornerstone of her life. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to her loving church family at Bethel Methodist Church in Dagsboro, whose prayers, visits, and unwavering support carried Pam through many difficult seasons.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Bethel Methodist Church, 28311 Clayton Street, Dagsboro, DE 19939, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Dagsboro Redmen Cemetery.
