Nancy Lou Davis

Born November 5, 1940, passed away Sunday August 18, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 83. Nancy was born in the mountains near the Virginia/West Virginia border and grew up in Abb's Valley. Nancy loved all animals and like her father she never met a stranger. Nancy enjoyed gambling, cards and always enjoyed playing games. She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed the newspaper. She will be dearly missed by family and friends alike. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Henry Alvin Davis as well as parents Fred and Mary Farmer and her beloved sister Juanita and daughter-in-law Nancy. She is survived by her sons Paul Steven Davis (Shelly) and Keith Alvin Davis; sister Betty Asbury and brother Jimmy Farmer (Lucille) and sisters-in-law Patricia Robertson and Sandy Callahan (Don) along with many nieces and nephews and her two cats Goldie and Pecker's. The family would like to say a special thank you to her dear friend Cathy Moyle.
