Milton Edward "Eddie" Marriott, age 64, of Frankford, DE, formerly of Hampstead, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 3, 2023.

Eddie was born on July 6, 1959, to Douglas Marriott Sr. and Mildred Marriott.  He was raised in Owings Mills, MD and graduated from Pikesville Senior High School Class of 1977.  Eddie proudly joined and served in the United States Navy.  After returning, he worked as a mechanic and was known for being able to work on and fix anything.

To his family and friends, he will be remembered as a helpful hand, always willing to get his hands dirty and get involved with any project.  Eddie had a passion for being on the water, boating, fishing, and crabbing, were some of his happiest memories.  He also enjoyed golfing, playing on local pool leagues, and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.  Eddie had a soft spot for all animals but especially dogs, for which his family lovingly dubbed him 'the dog whisperer'.

Preceded in death by his father, Douglas Howard Marriott, Sr., mother, Mildred Lee Marriott, and brother, Douglas Howard Marriott, Jr.  Eddie was survived by his sister, Sharon Lee Spencer, and his nieces, Stacy Lynn Spencer-Talent, Kimberly Ann Spencer, and her husband Brian Daniel Maxfield, and Harley Michelle Mooney, and her husband Kevin Andrew Mooney.

Service details will be forthcoming.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Eddie's name to the COPD Foundation.
