It is with profound sadness that the family of Michael "Mike" O'Neil announce his unexpected passing on Sunday April 30th, 2023 at the age of 72.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his niece Marnie O'Neil Eckstein, nephew Allan Elder O'Neil, and stepson Sean Corona, as well as a grandniece, grandnephews and numerous friends who had the pleasure of knowing his sarcasm and genuine kind spirit.

Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia, his brother Dennis, and his parents Dorothy and Richard.  He also cared for and lost many pets throughout his life.  He was an exceptional pet parent and in his final years of life he enjoyed the company of his 3 Westies; Jax, Abbee, and Jessee.

Prior to being a Delaware retiree Mike worked for the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C.  Throughout his life he was an avid fisherman.  In retirement he worked for the local post office and took road trips to visit friends and family, even driving across the country with his nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday June 26, 2023 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE followed by a luncheon, locale to be determined.
