Michael Augustus Marley, 80, of Dagsboro DE, died peacefully at home on January 30, 2024.\

Michael was born in Frederick MD, in November 1943 to Ellen B. Bell and Harvey A. Marley. He grew up in Waverly, Baltimore MD. He attended Baltimore Polytechnic High School and the University of Maryland. He graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in business. From there he served 2 years in the U.S. Army in Germany and worked in sales for Nestle' for over 20 years.

He is survived by Susan, his devoted wife of 52 years, daughters Kathryn Russell and Kimberly Nawrocki, son -in-laws, Timothy Russell and Joe Nawrocki III. In addition, he has 4 grandsons, Luke and Levi Russell, and Joseph IV and Brooks Nawrocki. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Marley of Columbia, MD.

Michael enjoyed poker games, prepping in the kitchen, and happy hour.

Michael had a love for dogs, therefore in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA , Georgetown Campus.
