Michael Joseph Farkas, age 67, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  He is survived and dearly loved by his Mother, Virginia (Jenny) Blanche Farkas, his two beautiful and talented sons, Nicholas Daniel Farkas (Tiffany Hall), Jeremy Andrew Farkas (Elise); his seven beautiful and cherished grandchildren, Krisa Brenley, Karli Elizabeth, Kaden Nicholas, McKenzie Addison, Aubrey Olivia, Bella Maria and Colton Edward; his fun-loving siblings, Linda Susan Mattingly (John), Laura Jean Miller (Paul), Gregory Francis Farkas (Cindy); and numerous (too many to list) nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael was born in Johnstown, PA, on February 25, 1956, and graduated in 1974 from Colonel Zadok Magruder High School in Derwood, MD, where he was a popular football, baseball and wrestling star.  He was a very talented brick and block mason, working in the Delmarva area for decades and training many others along the way. He always strived for perfection with his work and produced many beautiful building structures. Michael was a fun-loving person, a die-hard Redskin's (not Commanders) fan, a very generous and popular person, and a very proud son, Dad and Grampy. He was always the life-of-the-party and will be sorely missed by ALL.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, DE 19945 where friends and family may gather after 2 p.m.
