Mary Powley, age 92 of Bethany Beach, DE formerly of Bel Air, MD passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024  at Brandywine Assisted Living in Fenwick Island, DE.

Mary was born in Baltimore, MD on June 14, 1932, daughter of the late William Moudry and the late Helen (DeMaggio) Moudry. Her working career was split between being a beautician early on and later became a realtor.

Mary spent her free time painting, which she had a talent and a love for.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Powley, daughter Mary Carol Lane, sisters Helen Harding and Hilda Wachter and brother William Moudry. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda O'Laughlin and her husband Larry of Bethany Beach, DE; a sister Judy Denbow of Dunnellon, FL; grandchildren: Shelly Aguayo, Laura Burkett (Michael), Thomas Lane (Shannon), Matthew Kittridge (Stefanie) and Caitlin Kittridge and 7 great-grandchildren.
