Mary Ann Orledge, age 87, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Montchanin, DE passed away on November 20, 2023 at Cadia Renaissance in Millsboro, DE.

Born in the Bronx, NY on August 21, 1936, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ann (Lindsay) Gardner.

She worked at AstraZeneca in Wilmington, DE. for 25 years and retired in 1998.

After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Mary attended the Bayshore Community Church where she had many friends. Above all else she enjoyed being with family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert William Orledge in 2013. She is survived by three sons, Robert and wife Carolyn of Millsboro, DE, Daniel of Millsboro, DE and Brian (Maya Manser) of Reston, VA; five grandchildren, Jacob, Casey, Kelly, Summer and Emily and two brothers, Charles Gardner of Dagsboro, DE and James Garder of Wilmington, DE.

A service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
