Mary Jane Deni, age 80, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 29, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late Frederick Saylor and Elizabeth (Haas) Saylor.

Mary Jane was a Store Secretary for Bradlees and a Representative for TransUnion.

She was a Treasurer for the Italian Heritage Association, a long-standing member of the Bishop James C. Burke Columbiettes where she held offices of President and Treasurer. She also held the office of State Advocate for the State Columbiettes.

Surviving is her husband, James Deni with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage. Also surviving are three children, Patrice Reed of Virginia Beach, VA, James Deni and Christine Deni both of Swarthmore, PA and two grandchildren, Megan Reed and Alexandra Reed of Virginia Beach, VA.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July12, 2023 at St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Dr., Lewes, DE where friends and family may gather at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
