Marianne K. Smith, age 83 of Millville, DE passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 27, 1941 in Bogota, NJ to the late James and Kathleen Caccamo, Marianne was a longtime New Jersey resident and 1958 graduate of Bogota High School, where she excelled as a baton twirler and soon after graduating high school opened and operated her own beauty salon in New Jersey. Marianne met her late husband Ronald in High School and after his return from the Navy, the two married and relocated to Delaware in 1964. Marianne managed the Marion Tracy dance studio for many years, prior to retiring.

In addition to her parents, Marianne is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ronald B. Smith along with her son-in-law Lewis Eglit, grandson Michael Correa and her nephew Christopher Lambertson. Marianne is survived by her children Jamie Eglit of Millville, DE; Michael Smith of Dover, DE and Cynthia Correa of Dover, DE along with her grandchildren Jeremy Eglit; Stephanie Correa; Christine Correa and Alexander Smith. Marianne also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Jaslene, Niela and Elijah Feliciano and Colton Correa. She will also be remembered by her sister Kathleen "Kasey" Caccamo of Dover, DE and her brother James "Jimmy" Caccamo and his wife, Linda of Ocean Pines, MD.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 at 2pm at the Millville United Methodist Church located at 36405 Club House Road, Millville, DE 19967. A reception will immediately follow at Wesley Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Marianne's honor to the Millville United Methodist Church .
