Margaret (Peggy) Prideaux passed away on Monday, December 23rd, at her home in Delaware, surrounded by her husband and two sons.

Peggy was born in Manhattan, NY on November 13, 1951, daughter of the late John E. Phair and the late Margaret (Rita) R. Byrne.  Peggy grew up in Palisades Park, N.J. and attended Saint Cecilia High School, and graduated from Ramapo College of NJ with a degree in American Studies in 1973. She earned her SPHR in 2009 and her SHRM-SCP in 2015.

Peggy had a long and successful career in Human Resources.  She began at Thyssen Steel - US Headquarters and PepsiCo Headquarters in New York. After relocating to Minnesota with her husband she worked in Health Care HR at Methodist Hospital, West Health, and Allina Health Systems. She later worked at Gage/PIMMS Marketing & Merchandising as a Senior Vice President before moving to Massachusetts and then to Delaware where she finished her career working for VigiLanz/Inovalon until her retirement in 2023.

Peggy lived in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for 34 years but always made sure to return to the Jersey Shore for family vacations, spending time in Lavallette or Cape May, N.J. She was also a passionate soccer mom attending her sons' games from when they were 5 years old through their college years. She loved visiting family, giving gifts, and exploring new places like Disney World, Las Vegas and America's National Parks. A lover of good food, she could never resist Devil Dogs, Mocha Cake or a good slice of Jersey Pizza. Despite living in various locations across the country, Peggy remained a die-hard NY Yankee and Minnesota Viking fan. In recent years she lived her BEST SHORE LIFE DREAM living near the ocean in Southern Delaware.

Peggy is predeceased by her parents as well as her brother John T Phair of Brick N.J. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Douglas G. Prideaux, son DJ Prideaux and his wife Allison Prideaux of St Paul, MN and grandson Quinn, and son Devon Prideaux and his wife Alyssa Prideaux of Roseville MN and granddaughter Penelope and grandson Vincent. She is also survived by her sister Tish Jamieson of Ocala, Florida, Sister-in-Law Joan Phair of Brick N.J., Sister Maureen Phair and Dawn Pompeo of Tewksbury, N.J., Kathy and Joseph Maurer of Emerson N.J., Barbara and Mike Tremonte of Wayne N.J. and Sheila and Danny Nastasi of River Vale, N.J., Dr. Peter and Phyllis Prideaux of Lancaster, PA and Dr. John Meisel and Penny Meisel of Redmon, Washington.  Finally, and in addition,19 Nieces, and Nephews.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at a shore location in April or May with the time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Liver Foundation .
