Louise Lyons (82), of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of February 23rd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John, and is survived by her three children:  John E. Lyons (Ellen), Michael Lyons, and Catherine Lyons.   She is also survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Janet Stettler, six Grandchildren: Nicholas Lyons, Kaitlin Knox (Kevin), Morgan Lyons, Michael Lyons, Ryan Johnson, and Ashley Lyons, in addition to two Great Granddaughters, Liliana and Carys Knox.

Louise was a loving mother whose world revolved around her family.  Always a trusted confidant, Louise took great pride in making sure her family was cared for and was never in need.  As a homemaker, Louise was a jack-of-all-trades: interior designer, landscaper, chef, painter, accountant, and diplomat.   She was also a great mentor and advisor to her family, providing words of encouragement and life lessons to four generations.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the Tunnell Cancer Center and Dr. Fadi Damouni for their compassionate help and support throughout this trying time.

A memorial service will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966 on March 10th at 2:00 pm.
