Lou Ciccanti of Ocean View, Delaware passed away on October 26, 2023. He was born to Armand and Doris Ciccanti in Philadelphia, PA. Lou is survived by his loving family: wife, Lori, three children--Joseph (Annie), Dawn Marie (Rey), Matthew and a grandson--Jacob-- along with two sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Upon graduating from Bristol High school in Bristol Pa., Lou attended Temple University and Penn University where he studied music. He later earned a master's degree in ministry at Philadelphia College of Bible. Also, Lou received his doctorate degree from Trinity Theological Seminary in the early 2000s. In the 80s and 90s, he taught at Manna Bible Institute--Mt. Holly Campus. Lou also pastored at Newportville Community Church in Pennsylvania for several years before moving to Delaware in 1999. While in Delaware, he worked for Fresenius as a Dialysis Tech for about 10 years before retiring. In addition to his passion for ministry, which included blogs on the Books of Revelation and Daniel, Lou enjoyed spending time with family and loved music, gardening, and cooking. Lou had a high school band called Lou Chic and the Chics. His talent in art included painting murals at his former high school.

A Celebration of Life services for Lou will be held at Melson Funeral Services Ocean View Chapel, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, DE, 19970 at 12 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 where friends and family may gather after 11 a.m.
