Laura Lee Leight, age 88, of Frankford, DE formerly of Naples, FL and Pasadena, MD passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her home.

Lee was born in Baltimore City, MD on October 16, 1935 daughter of the late William Edmund Leight and the late Ruth Emily (Rorke) Leight.  She proudly served her country in the United States Navy and obtained a master's degree in accounting.

Lee worked as the head of the accounting department at National Geographic prior to her retirement.  She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her giving personality and her love of her family.  Lee was a sports enthusiast and loved her Baltimore Ravens.  She also enjoyed traveling in her RV, going out to eat with her family and watching game shows on the television.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her six siblings, William Leight, Royston Leight, Ralph Leight, Eva Leight, Ruth Isbell and Evelyn Comegna. Lee is survived by her partner of 26 years, Sandy Pool and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services and burial will be held privately.
