Larry David Schap, age 78, of Frankford, DE formerly of Laurel, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
He was born in Washington, DC to David Schap and Janet Gayman on November 3, 1946.
Larry served his country by joining the U.S. Army and serving during Vietnam and worked for Giant grocery store in the Produce Department for 30 years in Wheaton, MD.
He will be remembered as being a sweet guy and everyone who met him, loved him. He was a sports enthusiast and loved playing tennis. He enjoyed working in his yard and cutting the grass.
Larry was preceded in death by his three brothers, Steve Schap, Chuck Warholic and John Warholic. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Carol J. (Reichert) Schap; a brother Brent Warholic of Frederick, MD; two sisters, Tonda Cissel (Fred) and Dawn Fisher (Steve) both of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
