Kathryn "Kay" Mae Nacey, aged 83, of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at her daughter's home in Millsboro. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 25, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert Graham Welsh and the late Gladys Blanche (Phillips) Welsh. After raising her family, Kay proudly returned to school and earned her high school diploma, graduating from James H. Groves in 1983.

A devoted homemaker, Kay found great joy in caring for her home and family. She loved cooking, cleaning, and especially taking care of her husband. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her yard, and nurturing her beautiful flowers.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Robert K. Welsh, and her sister, Dolores Goertz. She is survived by her three children: Butch Jevnick and his wife, Shannon, of Dagsboro, DE; Judith Anne Schlegel and her husband, Sam, of Millsboro, DE; and John Wesley Nusbaum of Seaford, DE. She is also survived by her brother, James E. Welsh, of Millsboro, DE; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way.

Services and burial will be held privately.
