Karen L. Schluck, age 77, of Georgetown, DE formerly of North Wilmington, DE and Drexel Hill, PA passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at her home.

Karen was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1947 daughter of the late Joseph Nulton MacDonald and the late Mary Dolores (Goodrich) MacDonald.

Karen had fond memories of growing up on Lewes Beach as her family had a beach home from the 1950's to 1990's.  With that strong bond of vacationing at Lewes Beach she had a love of the beach and ocean.  She will be remembered as a phenomenal cook and loved being a Grammy to her five grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of almost 54 years, Charles Joseph Schluck; two children, Jennifer Holladay and her husband, Robert of Dagsboro, DE and Joseph Schluck and his wife, Jennifer of Hockessin, DE; five grandchildren, Lauren Holladay, Hunter Holladay, Collin Schluck, Samantha Holladay and Reagan Schluck; her two sisters, Jean Lundy and Barbara Wynne; her mother-in-Law, Ella Schluck; Four nieces and a nephew, and sister-in-Law, Linda O'Hara (Joseph "Chip")

A visitation will be held at 10AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966, A prayer service will follow at 11 AM.
