Justin Lee Porter, age 45, of Ocean City, Maryland, passed away on June 9, 2026, following a traumatic injury.

Born on February 23, 1981, in Baltimore, Maryland, Justin was the son of Charles and Vanessa Porter (nee Guzik). A longtime resident of Finksburg, Maryland, he graduated from Westminster High School in 1999. Following high school, Justin lived in Arizona for 20 years, where he attended Arizona State University and worked in the fire sprinkler and fire protection industry.

Justin will be remembered for his hardworking and kind spirit. He loved everyone he met, especially animals in need. When he was not working, Justin enjoyed spending time by the water, playing guitar, listening to music, fishing, and cheering on his beloved Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens.

Justin was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Eric Porter, and his beloved dog, Jedi.

He is survived by his loving parents, Charles Edward Porter Jr. and Vanessa Mary Porter (nee Guzik); his brothers, Carl Porter (Colleen) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Dennis Porter (Stacey) of Ocean View, Delaware; and his nieces and nephews, Casey, Cody, Hannah, Ariana, Charlotte, and Riley. He is also survived by his aunts, Debbie Guzik (Frank Jr.) and Raschelle Fletcher, both of Glen Burnie, Maryland, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Melson Funeral Services in Ocean View, Delaware. Funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.
