Judy Lynn Bentley, age 75, of Millville, DE passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2024. She was born in North Carolina to Ellsworth 'Pete' Harbaugh and Marion Wilson Harbaugh.

Judy and the family moved to Delaware when she was a small child. Judy worked for NCR in Millsboro and then moved many times with the company to Greenville SC, Memphis TN, Richmond, VA, and Dayton OH. Upon her retirement she returned home to Delaware to spend her retirement with her family.

Judy's greatest pride and joy was in her great nieces and nephews and being a major part of their lives. If you talked with Judy, you were sure to get the latest story about 'her kids'. She also made many friends, human and canine, through her beloved canine rescue son Beau. Beau brought her much joy and comfort for the four years they spent together.

Judy is predeceased by her parents, Sister Laura (Lolly) Hudson, Brother Ellsworth (Buddy) Harbaugh, and her beloved Beau.

She is survived by her Nieces: Dawn Hudson & husband Doug of Dagsboro, Lisa Hudson of Dagsboro, Heather Warburton & husband Justin of Hammonton, NJ, and Nephew: Keith Megee of Ocean View, DE.  Her great nieces and nephews Ashley Rowe, Garrett Hudson and his wife Alexandria, Bryanna Rowe and Ashton Esham. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Ronnie Hudson and sister-in-law Debbie Harbaugh both of Dagsboro.

A visitation will be held at Melson's Funeral Home in Ocean View on Saturday January 4th from 10-11 with a service following.  Interment will be at Mariners Bethel Church in Ocean View.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your favorite animal rescue in her honor.
