It is with sadness that we share the passing of John I. Sexton after a short illness. He was surrounded by his family and will be greatly missed. John is survived by his wife Paula, daughters Katherine Sexton and Christina Aliberti, and her husband Nicholas and grandson Nicky. He is also survived by his brother Edward Sexton, his wife Judy, his sister-in-law Ruth Sexton, his aunts Mary Sexton and Virginia Ewing, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Betty Sexton, sister Diane Perez and brother Michael Sexton.

John was a true son of Dundalk, having spent his entire life in the community. He was a proud graduate of Dundalk High School, attended CCBC, and was a dedicated employee of Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for an impressive 42 years before retiring.

John enjoyed spending time with his family, being at the ocean, watching NASCAR and collecting Hot Wheels and slot cars. He is remembered fondly for livening up conversations with quips, bits of trivia, and having a song for everything.
