John Loughlin Bullock passed away November 13, 2025, at the age of 78.

The oldest of six children born to John R. Bullock and Miriam Bullock (née Loughlin), John was a man of many talents and interests.  Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, he grew up all over the East Coast, before the family settled in Hingham, MA.

He attended Marietta College in Ohio, majoring in economics and business. His career ranged from stints as a disc jockey and traveling salesman for Proctor & Gamble, followed by a decade at IBM and then a shift to IT consulting.  He had an amazing mind for trivia, an endless curiosity, and a dry and incisive sense of humor that he deployed readily. He read voraciously, loved watching sports, and enjoyed researching and experimenting with new technology.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (née Isaacs) and daughter Meaghan; three brothers, Scott (Trisha), Christopher, and Kevin (Alison); one sister, Linda (Edward P. Owens, deceased); two nieces and three nephews; one grand-nephew; and many friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Geoffrey.

There will not be public services.
