Jeanne Ann (Guzzetti) Loftus beloved wife of Roy "Tom" Loftus passed on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from pancreatic cancer at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE.

Jeanne was born on May 20, 1947 in Beaver Falls, PA, to the late Martha and Ray Guzzetti.  She grew up in a neighborhood on 25th Street that she always loved with her brother, Ray "Bob", her Uncle Chick, Aunt Marcy and cousins.

Following high school, she worked at several local companies including Sun Drug where she met her best friend for life, Carol Ault.  It was also at Sun Drug where she was introduced to Tom.  They were married on June 8, 1968 and had a marriage full of love and devotion with a deep love of God through their Catholic faith.

Tom's jobs took them to several new cities including Jacksonville, FL, Gastonia, NC, Thomasville, GA and Atlanta, GA.  Following Tom's retirement, they moved to Millville, DE where they enjoyed being close to family and the beach.

She was great at baking, cooking, crocheting and making a beautiful home for her and Tom.  She always dressed impeccably and enjoyed the hunt of finding the right outfits.  Jeanne knew no strangers and brought a smile to whoever she encountered.  For birthdays or Christmas, she always loved giving gifts to make others happy.

In addition to her husband, Tom, Jeanne had a great love for her family including her brother, Bob Guzzetti and his wife, Peg and their children, Terry Csoky and her husband, Charles, Christine Guzzetti and Deborah Blatt and her husband, Dave and her sisters-in-law, Linda Loftus and Peggy Karr and her husband, Chris and their son, Ryan Karr and his wife, Tracy.  She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Julia, Connor and Nicki Csoky, Iris Blatt and Henry Karr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 35318 Church Rd., Frankford, DE 19945, where friends and family may gather after 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
