Jarrold "Jerry" Batdorf, Jr., age 75, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Macungie, PA passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born to the late, Jarrold Batdorf, Sr. and Alice Hipple in Pottstown, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1948.

Jerry was proud to have served in the United States Marine Crops, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed by Cabot Corporation where we worked as a machinist in surgical metals. He was known for being able to fix anything. He proudly helped design and build his own home in Macungie, Pennsylvania.

To his family and friends, he will be remembered as a strong, silent person. He loved his family unconditionally, especially his grandkids who all lovingly called him "Da".

He will be missed dearly by his wife of 51 years, Doris M. (Tyson) Batdorf and two children John Batdorf (Donna) of Dunkirk, MD and Michele Boehmer (Jeff) of Collegeville, PA. A sister Leah Weitzel of Elverson, PA and grandchildren Scott Boehmer, Jessica Roustanis, Jay Boehmer and Jeremy Batdorf along with three great grandchildren.

Services and burial will be held privately.
