James R. Hannon, age 67, of Dagsboro, DE formerly of Bethlehem, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 21, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Effort, PA on March 2, 1956 son of the late James and Audrey (Rader) Hannon. Jim worked as a truck driver for Trexler Haines in Pennsylvania and retired from Pep-Up in Delaware. He was also an active member of the American Legion Post #24 in Dagsboro, DE.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley "Skip" Hannon.

Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carol J. (McElhenny) Hannon; two daughters, Rebecca Fay and her husband, Justin and Amy Kuhns and her husband, Danny; a son, Joshua Hannon and his wife, Barbara and four grandchildren. A brother Timothy Hannon and his wife Michelle and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Jim's name to the American Legion Post #24, 28181 Nine Foot Road, Dagsboro, DE 19939.
