Graham "Ed" Edward Jackson, Jr., 62, of Dagsboro, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Bay Harbor Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury, Maryland.

Born on January 15, 1964, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Ed was the son of the late Graham Edward Jackson, Sr. and Mary Hall. A proud member of the Indian River High School Class of 1982, Ed built a life centered on hard work, loyalty, and the people he loved most.

For much of his life, Ed worked as a truck driver, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and independent spirit, until disability led him into retirement. He found his greatest joy outdoors, whether hunting or simply appreciating nature, and there was almost always music playing wherever he was. While these passions brought him happiness, nothing meant more to Ed than the love of his family and friends. He treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be carried forward by all who knew him.

Among his daughter's most cherished memories are the spontaneous late-night drives they shared to Camp Barnes. Those quiet trips, filled with laughter, conversation, and the simple comfort of being together, became moments that perfectly captured the special bond between father and daughter.

Ed is survived by the greatest blessing of his life, his beloved wife of 16 years, Helen A. Peterson; his cherished daughter, Saige Jackson of Dagsboro, Delaware; his three stepchildren, Kenny Phillips of Newark, Delaware, Sierra Phillips and her companion, Patrick Brady, of Ocean View, Delaware, and Savannah Rishel and her husband, Kenny; his sisters, Dee Jackson of Millsboro, Delaware, Brooke McCabe of Maryland, and Debbie Jackson of Virginia; his family pet Heidi; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, Delaware. A funeral service celebrating Ed's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to assist with Ed's final expenses and to help establish a college fund for his beloved daughter, Saige.
